  • Tenders are invited for Combined End-Line Evaluation and Feasibility Study at the Stage of Transition to a New Project to Evaluate the Outcome of the Project Approaching Termination and to Generate the Baseline Information Supporting the Proposal Development Process Bid closing date: within 10 calendar days before 5:00 P.M Bid opening date: No Specific Opening Date Region: Addis Ababa Movement for Ecological Learning and Community Action (MELCA-Ethiopia) is a non-governmental, not-for-profit making local civil society organization legally registered with the Agency for Civil Society Organizations. MELCA-Ethiopia has a vision to see healthy and prosperous people, who preserve their bio-cultural diversity, and the mission is focused on working for healthy ecosystems, resilient communities, and critical young generation through developing and institutionalizing innovative approaches and experiences. To realize its vision, MELCA-Ethiopia focuses on implementing four core programs Environmental Governance, Agro-ecology, Children and Youth Empowerment, and Ecofriendly Livelihoods Improvement Schemes all of which are employing gender as a cross-cutting subject. Having secured fund from Karl KΓΌbel Stiftung fΓΌr, Kind und Familie (KKS) the organization has been implementing a three years (1st may 2021 - 30 April 2024) project entitled, Sustainable improvement of the living conditions of small-scale farmer families in Adaba, Ethiopia (P5782)". Based on the results of this ongoing project nearing to completion, MELCA-Ethiopia is planning to initiate a new four Years (May 2024-April 2028) project with the working title of "Improving community and ecosystem resilience through Eco-friendly livelihood options, promotion of agroecological practices and engaging in nature conservation" to be supported by the same donor. The organization has planned to use part of the project proceeds for undertaking the 'combined end-line evaluation and feasibility study' at the stage of transition to a new project to evaluate the outcome of the project approaching termination and to generate the baseline information supporting the proposal development process for the new follow up project.
