  • Tenders are invited for Conduct Qualitative and Quantitative Research to Assess the Contribution/Impact of the Three Activities towards Meeting Riha Objective Improvement of Resilience. The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA Ethiopia) and VΓ©tΓ©rinaires Sans FrontiΓ¨res Switzerland (VSF-Suisse) are a non-political and non-profit making international non-government organizations operating in different parts of Ethiopia implementing integrated humanitarian and development interventions. Since 2019, the two organizations, ADRA Ethiopia and VSF Suisse through support and in partnership with ADRA Denmark/DANIDA have been implementing a project entitled Resilience in Horn of Africa (RIHA) in Gode and Adadle woredas of Shabelle zone, Somali Region, Inline to this project, ADRA Ethiopia is pleased to invite consultancy firms, legally established & Registered (valid and renewed business license) to operate in the country or qualified freelance to submit their SERVICE PROPOSAL (financial and Physical) to conduct the following two consultancy services in the two RIHA intervention woredas The subject of Consultancy work: Impact Assessment Impact analysis of CAP, VSLA, and women Goal group activities. The main objective of this consultancy work is to conduct qualitative and quantitative research to assess the contribution/impact of the three activities towards meeting RIHA objective improvement of resilience. Minimum required qualifications and experience of the consultant firms a) The lead consultant should have at least a Master's Degree In Development Studies, Resilience, DRR, Governance, rural development, or related field b) Have at least five years' experience undertaking evaluations and research studies in development sectors and have a good understanding of concepts of resilience and DRR, c) Be conversant with the application of cross-cutting themes such as gender mainstreaming and others, d) Have proven experience of qualitative and quantitative data analysis; e) Have excellent analytical and report writing skills; f) Have experience working in the SomalΓ­ region, knowledge, and language of the area. g) be fluent in spoken and written English. Minimum required qualifications and experience of the consultant firms a) More than 3years experience working in a similar field; b) Experience in producing development work-related documents for publication and documentaries for international organizations with the aim of reaching both local and international audiences; c) Experience in working with NGOs agencies and other international organizations; d) Local knowledge and language of the areas; e) Excellent technical capacities (state of the art filming equipment preferably High Definition) to ensure smooth and high-quality production; f) Experience in development communication will be an added value.
