Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancy service for Business Development Service The services under the proposed contract include ffacilitating training and strengthening the capacity of the youth agripreneurs and into functional agribusiness entities with tailored farm based and business skills training including Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), business planning and management, financial operations, access to markets, logistics and networks, entrepreneurship and assist the enterprises to develop bankable business plans for the financing component through the Development Bank of Ethiopia (DBE). The BSDP will also enhance commercialization through linkages between production in the irrigation schemes and Integrated Agro-Industrial Parks (IAIPs) by building capacity of the agripreneurs and farmer groups in postharvest handling, conformity assessment, quality, safety and standards, connectivity, logistics, contracting and marketing. The BSDP will utilize real time ICT based platform to link producers (farmers), to buyers, bulk traders and agro industries in the IAIPs
