- Tenders are invited for Consultancy Service to Deliver Expertise in Preparing and Presenting a Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) Qualification Requirement: The individual consultant will have a relevant postgraduate Degree in sociology, social anthropology, development studies, Economics, Agronomist and related fields. It should have Senior Consultant level professional competence, renewed license, experience in infrastructure development projects, and urban settings and preferable on WASH sector. Specific experience of RAP study in different national projects, and other World Bankfinanced projects is more preferred Scope of the assignment: The individual RAP consultant is supposed to be qualified and licensed individual consultant that will prepare separate full RAP study report to Hawassa water supply and sanitation subproject under UWSSP-II The consultant will develop the RAP based on the most recent and accurate information on the selected projects and the impacts on displaced persons and adversely affected vulnerable groups. The Consultant/s will design appropriate measures to avoid, mitigate, offset or compensate such impacts where possible and provide instruments for their implementation The Consultant/s shall be responsible for carrying out all necessary preparatory studies, field work, search and investigations to compile the information required for the work. Task 1: Description of the proposed sub-project Task 2 Approach and Methodology Task 3: Review of Policies, Regulations, and Guidelines Task 4: Consultation with affected groups and host communities Task 5: Stakeholder Consultation and Identification of Social Impacts Task 6: Socio economy survey Task 7: Eligibility criteria and entitlement policy matrix Task 8: Valuation of and compensation for losses Task 9: Resettlement measures Task 10: Organizational arrangements Task 11: Grievance redress mechanism Task 12: Monitoring and evaluation Task 13: Timetable and budget: Total duration of the service is 75 calendar days
