• Tenders are invited for Consultancy Service for Tax Audit/Government Audit by Ministry of Revenue. Marie Stopes International (MSI) is one of the largest international Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) and Family Planning (FP) organizations in the world. We are a result oriented social enterprise that develop efficient, effective, and sustainable SRH/FP programmes around the world. Marie Stopes International Ethiopia (MSIE), a partner of MSI, is currently undertaking a dramatic scale-up of health service delivery for low-income women and couples in Ethiopia. This includes expanding services in clinics and rural outreach programs into new regions of Ethiopia and creating social franchising networks of private quality service providers. MSIE announces information about job vacancies widely and encourages applications from all sectors of the community. MSIE also implements a Safeguarding Policy to safeguard and protect the rights of staff, children, young people and vulnerable sections of the community and to this end, successful candidates will need to sign MSIE-s ‘code of conduct- and undergo a background check. The Safeguarding Policy includes an adult Safeguarding, dignity at workplace, child safeguarding, human trafficking and anti-slavery, sexual harassment, equality, and diversity. MSIE applies zero tolerance approach for the violation such policies. With the proclamation number 621/2009 that now has been replaced with revised proclamation number 1113/2019, MSIE received an income generating license in June 2016 with the prime focus of making our operations financial sustainable and generating surplus in long run to support charity wing services. The IGA wing contains the sales units with 9 sales areas and paid service within the MSIE 17 medium clinics/SRH & 4 Maternity and Child health centers. According to the Country regulations, MSIE is also required to undergo compliance audit from Ethiopian revenue and Customs Authority (ERCA) for the accounting period starting from June 2016 to December 2020. As the implementation of the IGA business system is new concept in the NGO environment of the hybrid type, it is important to get the right accounting treatment and preparation for government audit to minimize the risk of noncompliance, requirements and to update the organization`s accounting and other relevant policies to reflect the changes required in line with the tax proclamations, commercial codes, and business standards and as applicable regulations of health sector. Interested, qualified and eligible bidders are invited to collect the detailed terms of reference (TOR) from -Marie Stopes International Ethiopia head office located at Wello Sefer, Ethio-China road in front of Tebaber Berta Building, from the reception desk during working hours starting from the date of first announcement.
