Tenders are invited for Consultancy Services - Baseline Survey for Improved Cook Stove Program Closing Date: 20 Jul 2023 Type: Consultancy Themes: Climate Change and Environment/Gender/Shelter and Non-Food Items Vita is about to start a 3-year improved cook stove program. The Gamo and Gofa Zone Stove Program intends to support approximately 110,000 households in the SNNPR-region of Ethiopia to obtain and use improve cook stoves. As part of the initial activities, Vita intends to conduct a baseline study to benchmark project indicators using external consultants. Therefore, the organization would like to invite suitable consultants (either individual or teams) to submit a technical and financial proposal who fulfil the following minimum requirements: A recognized university degree in rural development, development economics, energy economics, social science or in related fields of studies (at a minimum of master-s Level). At least 10 years of experience in relevant technical areas in research/impact evaluations of energy related studies, gender focused studies, livelihood situational assessments, and collective capacity assessments. A significate proportion of this experience should have been acquired in Ethiopia. In-depth knowledge and experience on research methods (household survey, key informant interviews and focus group discussions) and in quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods. The team leader needs to have minimum experience of at least one similar baseline in past two years. Practical and theoretical understanding of energy/improved cook stove programming. Excellent analytical, communication and report writing skills. Excellent communication and writing skill in English.
