Expression of Interest are invited for Design, Supply, Installation, and Commissioning of Network Equipment, Services and Cabling The suppliers are expected to perform the following major activities during the engagement: Provide design and logical topology of LAN and WLAN Solution Provision of planning tools to be able to identify the correct placement of the Wireless Access Points Supply of the LAN and WLAN equipment Cabling, installation, and configuration of LAN and WLAN equipment Testing and optimization of the LAN and WLAN solution Monitoring of the LAN and WLAN solution Knowledge transfer and documentation Structured cabling Support and maintenance proposal The Supplier should be able to deliver, Install and support the below: Access switches Core switches Routers Firewalls Wireless Local Area Networks controllers Access points Wireless/Local Area Network Management tools Server racks Structured cabling-both UTP and Fiber Safaricom is therefore soliciting the following documents from interested companies; Expression of Interest Jetter duly dated signed and stamped. A proposal clearly shows the following: - Current list of clients' companies where you are offering the networking and cabling services. Indicate the key regions you have a presence with operation offices, Of the above scope/objectives, clearly indicate which scope you can provide fully. Any software or equipment that may enhance the entire solution aside from the BOM provided above. Safaricom Telecommunications Ethiopia PLC reserves, at its sole discretion, the right to select or reject either in totality or partially, any or all proposals made in the context of this EOI. Any such decisions made will be final and no correspondence will be done, other than informing the bidders of the outcome of the process. The receipt of response shall not bind Safaricom to any contractual agreements with the prospective bidder. Such arrangements shall only come in place once a tender process has been completed and an award issued to a successful bidder after technical and commercial evaluation Any costs associated with the preparation and submission of the response to the EOI shall be borne by the E0l respondent
