Description:
The services included under this assignment are to undertake an inclusive stocktaking of completed and ongoing nature-based solutions related programs and projects; land use diagnostics assessment and characterization of vulnerable communities; assess potential opportunities to maximize the engagement of the private sector and the benefit of women and youth from the implementation of nature based intervention. The purpose of the strategic studies is primarily to identify potential priority areas for investment and programming under the CIF-NPC program, using a landscape approach, in order to prepare Ethiopia’s Investment Plan by the end of March 2024. The Project Management Unit (PMU) of the Ethiopian Forestry Development (EFD) has been tasked with the project management functions, and the maximum duration for this assignment is four (3) calendar months.
