Description:
The services to be provided under the Assignment include: development of alternative forecasting models or adoption of the existing models including more realistic scenarios; simulation of the models using actual data from relevant institutions; building different scenarios using the models and development of capacity development plan for the Fiscal Directorate of the Ministry of Finance; leading macroeconomic work and provision of advisory services to the Fiscal Directorate on fiscal issues and on the process of preparation of the Macroeconomic Fiscal framework (MEFF); provision of strategic advice, direct technical support and training to the fiscal policy and public finance staff on near-term and medium-term macroeconomic and fiscal policy reforms needed to ensure a stable financial and monetary system and support the country’s growth and transformation plan; and undertake various consultations within the broader financial and real sector actors to prepare and present regular briefings and recommendations to the MoF, MoPD and NBE in relation to Macro financial areas in Homegrown Economic Reform Agenda (HGERA).
