- Expression of Interest are invited for Ethiopian Manufacturing Industry Export Strategy The main objectives of the assignment are: assessment and identification of new export market potential and investigating existing market potentials for Ethiopian manufactured goods; investigating national existing capacity and potential for export oriented industrial products; identification of nationally priority products having key comparative advantage for export with the aim of expanding the export product basket including sector; sub-sector and product wise selection of manufacture items; thorough assessment and prioritization of national current export products capacity and potential export products identification for immediate; midterm and long-term market expansion plans; research and identify strategic products with better value chain and consumer markets for such products that can improve Ethiopia-s trade balance through government and private sector partnerships; and research and identify strategic export markets with key national core competencies to win markets in line with the development plan aim of improving diversification of export commodities; and Identifying conducive environment conditions for manufactured goods export diversification which may include; but not limited to; investment promotion; incentives types.
