IFC is looking for a Firm to undertake a Market Study on Movable Asset-Based Lending (MAL) to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Ethiopia. The study, amongst other things, is expected to carry out an analysis into current levels of financing to SMEs by financial institutions and non-bank financial institutions, assess the legal and regulatory barriers, identify the gaps and the market size for financing against movable collateral; contrast the level of credit extended to Ethiopian SMEs using movable property as collateral to global and regional benchmarks, compare what is being reported in NBE statistics and filed at the movable property registry, identify promising sectors/industries and ty INDIVIDUAL / FIRM PROFILE The consultant will be a firm. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals).
