- Tenders are invited for Procurement of Pharmaceuticals Bid closing date: Within thirty five consecutive calendar days,The Exact closing/opening date and time are clearly stated on the bidding document of the tender. Region: Addis Ababa Bid document price: 300.00 Birr or equivalent in a freely convertibly currency. Bid bond: 500,000.00 Birr A complete set of Bidding Documents in the English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 300.00 (Three Hundred Birr) or equivalent in a freely convertibly currency. Those who want the bidding document to be sent by a Courier Service shall pay an additional amount of ETB 2000.00 or equivalent in a freely convertible currency for a Courier Service charge or send a pre-paid Courier Service Coupon. The method of payment will be in cash, Cashier's Payment Order (C.P.O.), or direct deposit to EPSS A/C No 0172086183100 with Commercial Bank of Ethiopia Gullele Branch. Bids must be delivered to the address below within thirty-five consecutive calendar days starting from the date of this bid invitation is announced on The Ethiopian Herald newspaper. The Exact closing/opening date and time are clearly stated on the bidding document of the tender. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives, who choose to attend in person at the Conference Hall of the Service. Bid must be accompanied by a fixed Bid Security of 500,000 ETB as indicated in the bidding document. The bid security from an insurance company will not be accepted. The service reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and reject all bids, at any time prior to the award of the contract without there by incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders or any obligation to inform the affected bidder or bidders on the ground for the company's action.
