In Ethiopia, Mercy Corps has been operating since 2004 implementing development and humanitarian programs in Addis Ababa, Afar, Amhara, Gambella, Oromía, SNNPR, and Somali regions, aiming towards the emergenceof a peaceful and prosperous Ethiopia. Mercy Corps would like to invite all potential insurance companies registered in Ethiopia to bid for the provision of GYRT Life Insurance (Bid NO. MAR-ADD-006/2022) and Motor Insurance (Bid NO.MAR-ADD-005/2022) coverage as per the details written below and on the Tender Group Yearly Renewable Term (GYRT) insurance with CAI (Comprehensive Accidental Indemnity) and medical insurance coverage for its employees Motor own damage and Third-party insurance coverage for Mercy corps Vehicles, Wheel Loaders, and Motorcycles Towing Cost: Standard motor policy states that towing cost shall not be more than 20% of repair cost of damaged vehicles but we suggest it to be at least 30% of repair cost Cover for bandits, shiftas and flood should be quoted Standard motor insurance policy does not provide coverage for damages occurred by "bandit, shiftas and/or flood" and we suggest this cover be included in the policy by additional endorsement and see additional coverage needed and the detail information from the tender package. Bidders should collect the tender document from Mercy corps Addis Ababa office located Yeka Sub-City, Kebele 08 and House No. 377 as of 28th November 2022 8:00AM Bidders should enclose the copy of renewed and applicable business license and TIN certificate; and submit their premium offer/proposal Original and copy in a wax sealed and separate envelope; and marked "Bid for Insurance Coverage Vehicle" and "Bid for Insurance coverage Life and Medical" to Mercy Corps office address mentioned above; until 9th December 2022, 10:00 AM. Medical, life and vehicles/Motor insurance with separate envelop original and copy Marking "vehicle Insurance" and "Medical Insurance" Bids received after this date will not be considered Financial proposal should be in local currency. Mercy Corps reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid without giving any reason.
