- Rapid Evaluation of Refugee and Host Integration through the Safety Net under the Urban Productive Safety Net and Jobs Project ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION The Government of Ethiopias Urban Productive Safety Net and Jobs Project includes a subcomponent on Refugee and Host Integration through the Safety Net (RHISN). RHISN will extend the urban safety nets public works and livelihood programs to refugee and host communities in selected areas and build social cohesion between the two communities. This assignment is for a firm to design and conduct a rapid evaluation comprising baseline and endline surveys and gathering qualitative data from beneficiaries of this project in 5 areas Somali regions Faafan zone. Applying a gender lens, this research would (i) assess refugee and host community socio-economic conditions, interaction dynamics during project implementation, (ii) request feedback from beneficiaries on practical issues concerning program participation and (iii) analyze beneficiary feedback on views, experiences and attitudes of hosts and refugees toward each other and the project and other socio-economic and behavioral aspects. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms/NGOs or consortia thereof to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals).
