• Expression of Interest are invited for Recruitment of IT Infrastructure Expert Recruit an it Infrastructure Expert to Strengthen the Existing Capacity of Piu and Provide Support for the Day-To-Day it Infrastructure Implementation-Related Services 3. SPECIFIC TASKS/ACTIVITIES The IT Infrastructure Expert will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of the TTMS IT infrastructure systems and will work closely with the Project Team. The scope of services of the IT infrastructure Expert will include, but not be limited to the following: Act as the key interface between the stakeholders, SI, and the DSF for all types of IT infrastructure design, implementation, and other related issues; Take the lead in all the TTMS IT Infrastructure implementations. Proactively research, advise, and recommend all project-related technical issues, challenges, and risks related to the TTMS IT Infrastructure's passive and active components; Develop skills and knowledge required to perform all duties required for the TTMS IT infrastructure. Provide timely reviews and recommendations on technical work products and deliverables. Monitor the deployment of the TTMS Data centers (Primary and Secondary), on-premises IaaS and submit a report; Involve in the TTMS IT infrastructure deployment plan, User Acceptance Test (UAT) plan, UAT execution, and submit a report. Ensure that the TTMS IT infrastructure deployment by the SI does fit the agreed requirements and design of TTMS. Ensure that all IT infrastructure hardware and software items (BoQ and installations) are according to TTMS requirements and design specifications. Working closely with the DSF (Design & Supervision Firm) and NI (System Integrator), tasking their work and assuring that it is well coordinated with all stakeholders. Ensure that TTMS's IT infrastructure is implemented according to the agreed specification, design, plan, and scope: Work closely and transfer knowledge to concerned stakeholders: Responsible for establishing strong partnerships with vendors (hardware, software, telecom, power...etc) to set clear expectations. This includes negotiating access agreements, establishing service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring contracts are in place to support the services provided by the infrastructure team. Participate in meetings and workshops as required; Work with all IT and Business team personnel in the PIU to execute the project according to design and requirements, Coordinate with the IT Projects Lead to conduct audit and certification of the IT system Track progress, ensures the timeliness, cost, and quality of all activities performed properly under the project, Prepare technical comments to the DSF/SI and consolidate comments and input from MoTL and other involved stakeholders; Supervise and validate the SI and the DSF for the development and implementation of the TTMS IT infrastructure; Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports; and, Perform other project and/or entity-related IT Infrastructure implementation management activities as directed by PM/IT Project Lead. Qualification Minimum university degree in Computer science, Information technology/ systems, or related; 10 years of professional experience for BSc and 8 years for MSc in the IT Industry; from which 7+ years with previous IT infrastructure implementation experience; Industry-standard certifications in networking, computing, storage, and cloud technologies, DevOps will be a plus; Ability to review SI's infrastructure requirement survey, architecture designing, modeling, coding, implementation, and testing documents online/offline; Proven track record in design, implementation, management & administration of Data Center and end-user computing device and software assets; Proven track record in IT infrastructure and security design and implementation; Proven track record in documenting, maintaining and executing network, backup, and recovery procedures of systems; Proven track record in developing operational manuals, guidelines and policies; and, Experience in The World Bank-financed project will be a plus. 5. Working conditions The Expert will be stationed at the premises of the MoTL but should be ready to travel to various Regional sites throughout the country as needed. 6. Period of Performance The duration of the service under this TOR is 12 months (one year) and full- time with a possibility of extending the contract based on performance and the importance of extension.
