• Tenders are invited for Tot Training on Women Leadership and Public Speaking under the STEDE Program The following are the main objectives of the consultancy: To equip knowledge and capacity of ToT trainee on leadership skills and gender bias against women leaders To build the capacity of ToT trainee on mitigating gender bias regarding women leadership To equip participants with knowledge of ToT trainee on public speaking skills To develop facilitation skill of ToT trainee to be able to build the capacity of women leaders of various community and market groups which are targeted by STEDE program The Consultant will be responsible to deliver the following 1.Define training participants' learning objectives The consultant is expected to set up the objective training participants are going to learn and expected results. The major training contents will include the following. However, in consultation with the consultant additional topics might be added and/or the below topics might also be adjusted. Basic training topics to be covered : Basic concepts of gender equality and women empowerment Basics of leadership skills Characteristics of good leaders Gender bias in relation to women leadership and its consequences Challenges of women leaders Women leadership and role modeling How to mitigate gender bias on women leadership Communication and Public Speaking skills, etc 2.Develop training schedules and prepare training materials for power point presentation and handouts to be distributed for participants in English 3.Develop training methodologies which will include the followings but not limited Powerpoint presentation using ID projector Small group discussion and presentation Video Case study Roleplays Discussion etc Required Experience & Skills: The ideal consultant will have the following experience and skills: At least 3 years of experience in conducting leadership training and other MA and Above in Gender and development, Sociology, the related social science discipline Renewed consultancy license or TOT certificate on the same training Good understanding of the local context, gender dynamics, communities perception, and understanding about engaging in entrepreneurship Strong attention to detail and flexibility and motivation as much needed Excellent understanding of the promotion of gender equality and women empowerment approaches Ability to work in the assigned location for the duration of the Innent English fluency required and Somali language skills are a strong added advantage
